Work package 4 – Metering system, control interface and Smart Grid intercommunications network
The aim of this work package is to develop a complete system for the control of the network able to optimize the use of the EES system and enabling interoperability, functioning mode prediction and capable of fast response to grid changes. Therefore communication protocols and specifications will be defined and implemented. The monitoring control system nodes will be created, capable of measuring current consumption and flows in real-time. Communication protocols will be implemented. This not only for monitoring, but als providing the particularly required actions for monitoring, controlling and operating command and requests on all different nodes as required. A smart grid control algorithm will be designed to optimally manage the electrical grid and the battery management system. Finally a prosumers’ control and monitoring interface will be developed.
